Care Ministry Team
"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” - 1 Peter 4:10
Showing God’s love and mercy comes from many groups within the church. The Care Team exists to serve the needs of those who are in special care situations.
GRIEFSHARE GROUP This is a group that will walk through the grief experience with you. This group is a branch of an organization that offers support to individuals that are dealing with the death of a loved one.
FUNERAL CARE Funeral Services can be held at the church, or a minister can assist with a funeral at another location. To arrange these services contact the church office. Funeral meals are available upon request to those who regularly attend and are involved at Parkside. Meals can be provided by the family’s Lifegroup, Adult Bible School class, Ministry Team, or the Funeral Care team.
SHARE & CARE This group provides care and visits to those within the Parkside family who are homebound or in a nursing home facility.
FIX-IT CREW Volunteers provide limited repair and maintenance assistance around the house for Parkside individuals and families. The Fix-it Crew serves older adults, single parents, the disabled and others in unique circumstances that need assistance.
FINANCIAL ADVICE Financial counselors are available to come alongside you and help establish a budget.
HOSPITAL VISITS Visits are made to local hospitals throughout the week by various group leaders, Elders, ministers, or caregivers. If you or a family member is hospitalized contact the church office. Due to the “Privacy Act” hospitals do not notify the church when a patient is admitted. Please make sure we have the patient’s legal name.
BENEVOLENCE Help is available. In times of crisis the Parkside Outreach Ministry and Wellness Center can provide food, clothing, health advice, and encouragement in times of need.
